Sam Mullet blog

I have found out something that I had feared was true. I wanted to know the truth, but yet I didn’t. People would look at my name on my book and ask if I was related to Sam Mullet.  Not knowing for sure and since I didn’t want to give out false information I always just responded that we probably were, but I was not positive. However, my curiosity got the best of me and I too had to know if we were related or not. So I began asking people who might be able to help me find some answers to my questions.

Friday I was talking to one of my cousins and she gave me some vital information. Now I needed to do some research.  Saturday I decided to take my Mullet genealogy book along with me to a book signing and when I wasn’t busy, I would do some investigation. That day my sister-in-law was with me and she was glad to help with this research..

Together we unveiled the truth that I was related to Sam Mullet, we were actually third cousins. The moment that information was discovered I felt a shock that almost brought me to tears. Why would I ever want to admit that I was related to someone who was arrested for hate crimes? Talk about mixed feelings! I didn’t want to make it known to the public, but yet I kept thinking, could any good come from this if I did tell? I know God gave me a love for my Amish family and a passion for the truth to be heard, so I had my answer.

The truth is that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.  No one is perfect, we all need Jesus who was perfect, who came to die on a cross for us sinners so that through Him we are saved. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through Him.

A religion with man made rules and laws cannot save us. We need to rid ourselves of religious strongholds that lead people astray and down the path of destruction. We sometimes have to get out of our comfort zone and be wiling to speak with people who look religious about the truth that Jesus is the only one who can save us. Not a book of laws. Not a religion, with man made laws!

It is great for both men and women, it is also the common aspiration of both husband and wife, both sides closely with the obligation, also have the right to won the meet jointly. http://www.creativebdsm.com/cialis-5488.html canadian viagra no prescription ED pills such as Kamagra are formulated to relax blood flow and increase blood flow through muscle relaxation, buy viagra pill thus allowing men get firm and achieve prolonged erections. Please remember to take your family physician advice before starting the dosage of usa viagra store generic Apcalis. Our media and the popular bonnet books have portrayed the Amish as the perfect lifestyle/religion so much so that we now have Amish Wannabe friends on Facebook. The Amish even want us English to believe that their lifestyle is perfect. (I can tell you more about that some other time.) But yes, the Amish want us to believe the lie.  Amish Bonnet Books are the top sellers of all current genres. Why? Because the world is hungry for a simpler life style. They think they see a simpler lifestyle in the Amish and can escape into that world when reading these Amish Bonnet Books.

A simpler lifestyle can only be found in Jesus. When Jesus captures our heart, we are free to be what God meant for us to be.  He is the only one that can set us free and give us a life that is worth living.

My prayer is:

  1. That the Christians search for the truth about the Amish religion and do something about it.
  2. That the Amish Bonnet Book authors search and write about the truth.
  3. That God gives the ex-Amish strength to speak out/write their true redeeming stories.
  4. That the Amish are reached with the truth from the Bible and that they are set free from the bondage of religion.

LET THE TRUTH BE HEARD

AND

LORD, LET US NOT REMAIN SILENT ANY LONGER!
